 This is my sixth year teaching
at Douglas Elementary. I am a graduate of Douglas High School. I obtained my Bachelor´s from Athens State University. I hold a Master´s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. 
I have been married for sixteen years to Tim Sims. 
We have an eight year old daughter, Lauren Gay.
